Product description

Front axle drive shaft (left shaft 5-18-118-09, 198208-13530) of the 4 x 4 (4WD) drive , 242 mm long, 22 mm in diameter and with a 21T cutter for Yanmar tractors of the Yanmar EF352T series and others.

The intermediate shaft, or drive shaft, is the part of the system responsible for transmitting power from the engine to the tractor's axle(s) and/or power take-off shaft. Four-wheel drive tractors have two similar or identical shafts. The gearbox shaft's function is to receive the driving force from the clutch disc and transmit it to one of the gears or to the PTO/ power take-off shaft. The drive shaft is one of the most precisely manufactured components in the drive system and is always made from a single piece of steel, as the shaft carries equally precisely manufactured bearings, gears, and sprockets that drive the tractor.

Questions & Answers

Why is regular filter replacement (oil, air, fuel) crucial for a mini tractor?

User
Traktor.com.pl Expert – Technical Advisor • 17.02.2026
Regular filter replacement is the easiest way to extend the life of an engine from brands like Kubota or Yanmar. The oil filter removes metallic contaminants generated during operation, the air filter protects the cylinders from field dust, and the fuel filter prevents water and dirt from damaging the precision injection system. We recommend replacing filters every 50-100 operating hours or at least once per season to ensure optimal engine performance.

How to properly select and sharpen mower blades for a Japanese tractor?

User
Traktor.com.pl Expert – Technical Advisor • 17.02.2026
When selecting mower blades, consider the mower deck model and the blade length and center bore diameter. Maintaining blade balance is crucial when sharpening – an unbalanced blade causes vibrations that damage the hub bearings. Remember that sharp blades mean healthier grass, a cleaner cut, and less strain on the engine of your Iseki or Mitsubishi tractor.

How to identify the correct V-belt size and how to care for it?

User
Traktor.com.pl Expert – Technical Advisor • 17.02.2026
It's best to read the markings on the side of the old V-belt. If they are illegible, measure the belt width and its outer length (La). On Shibaura and Hinomoto tractors, it's important to regularly check the belt tension – too loose a belt will cause slippage and faster wear, while too tight a belt can cause alternator or water pump bearing failure.
