The Cardan joint, also called the U-joint, is one of the most important elements in the tractor drive system, enabling the transmission of torque between drive shafts located at different angles. Thanks to the Cardan joint, it is possible to transmit power effectively even when the drive shafts are not perfectly aligned, which is a common situation in agricultural vehicles operating in difficult terrain.

Symptoms of cardan joint wear:

Noise: Loud noises such as knocking or humming noises when the drive shaft is operating may indicate a worn joint.
Vibration: Unusual vibrations while driving may be caused by a damaged joint.
Play: Increased play in the joint may suggest wear or damage to the joint components.
Grease Leaks: Leaking grease from the joint may indicate damaged boots or excessive joint wear.
