Product description
How does a tiller work and why should you use it?
A tiller is a device that is designed to mechanically dig, crumble and loosen the ground. Thanks to the operation of the tiller , we can remove the old turf of the lawn, dig the soil, remove weeds, level the ground while preparing for a new lawn or vegetable crops. In addition, the tiller is used in orchards when growing vines or removing weeds in the inter-rows.
How does it look in practice?
Due to the rotating blades, soil fragments are cut and shredded. The tiller is equipped with massive side-curved knives that thoroughly mix the soil. They are mounted on the working shaft, 4 pieces on each section, 24 pieces in total. The width of our work is 115 cm, while the depth at which we can work is 8 - 12 cm. In order for the tiller to work properly and perform its task, it should be used with a tractor with a recommended power of at least 17 HP. Thanks to this, we will obtain a properly prepared soil for subsequent works.
In the case of rotary tillers, a drive chain is used, which requires the use of a PTO shaft with protection, i.e. a breakaway wedge or clutch to protect the tractor's gears and the machine's transmission.
The TLK 115 4FARMER tiller is simple in construction and solidly made. The hinged flap function makes it easier to keep the machine clean and provides better access to the main shaft of the knife axis.
The effect of using the TLK 115 4FARMER tiller?
