The task of the gearbox shaft is to receive the driving force from the clutch disc and transfer it to one of the gears or to the PTO/PTO shaft. The driveshaft is one of the most precision-engineered things in a drivetrain and is always made from a single piece of steel, as the shaft is fitted with equally precision-machined bearings, sprockets and sprockets that drive the tractor.
