How to choose a tire?

Properly collected tires allow for the maximum use of the tire's driving properties and translates into better use of the tractor's power. Correctly selected tire should be in contact with the ground surface with the entire surface of the tread face. Low-profile tires are recommended for large machines used mainly for transport purposes over even and long distances, while high-profile tires for small and medium-sized ones, where the driving characteristics require the use of small width tires. We divide tires into two main groups:

• Radial tires / R / (carcass fibers in relation to the reinforcement of the sides of the tire at a right angle), The tire is resistant to mechanical damage, but more durable and more economical operation of the tractor. A tire with a larger contact area can work with reduced and increased pressure and compacts the soil less. It allows you to change the field tasks of tractor work.
• Diagonal tires / D / (warp yarns in relation to the reinforcement of the sides of the tire at an acute angle). The tire is very resistant to mechanical damage, needs high pressure, it compacts the ground more. Tire designed for operation in difficult terrain conditions and with constant air pressure.

What tire size?

Tire sizes are most often given in inches (abbreviation or symbol: in or ″) and it is a series of numbers and letters denoting the width of the tire, profile height and type of construction, type of tread and rim diameter. The 22 x 11.00-8 tire is a tire:

• 22 - outer diameter,
