The principle of operation of the tiller is based on the rotational movement of the main shaft, to which arched or curved knives are attached, which during the rotation of the shafts cut parts of the earth, crushing and loosening the soil.
Additional equipment of the separation tiller is a stone separator , i.e. a separating device designed to cover the stones with a layer of processed soil. The vertical teeth located just behind the working roller intercept the stones excavated by the tiller and, sliding them, dig them into a deeper layer of soil. On the other hand, the string roller located at the very end of the machine is responsible for leveling the ground.
The intensity of soil loosening is regulated by the speed of the PTO/PTO shaft and the speed of the tractor itself. The working depth of all tillers is about 20 cm. The separation tiller is a basic tool for tillage, but also for setting up meadows, gardens and lawns.
This versatile device is also used in horticulture, it is often used for weeding between rows or preparing the soil for new plantings.
