This is how the mechanical spade is described by the manufacturer of digging machines - the Imants company. It is a rotating machine that uses shovels attached to a shaft to cultivate the soil. The entire system is powered by the tractor's PTO.

The Dutch brand Imants has over 60 years of experience in designing agricultural machines for digging soil. Certainly, thanks to increasing awareness, technological progress and care for the environment, we know that digging is more than just turning the soil. Digging is therefore mixing organic material with the top - living layer of soil, combining crop residues, mixing green manure so that it can be finally decomposed into nutrients for the next crops. The Imants SX mechanical spade is a rotary machine that uses blades to cultivate the soil. The blades are attached to the shaft, and the whole is powered by the tractor's PTO. The 27SX model has a working width of 150 cm and has 16 blade blades placed on the shaft.

Additionally, the 27SX model from Imants is equipped with a powered mechanical harrow, with the help of this device the soil is crushed, leveled and the crop residues are well mixed. As a result, we get a perfectly prepared seedbed, the roller will work exceptionally well on both clay and sandy soils.
