DPH 175 - commonly known as a "mulcher" is a massive flail mower with hydraulic shift , which is suitable for mowing wastelands, vines, thick grass, meadows and pastures. It is dedicated to mowing weedy, neglected areas, corn harvest residues. It is not afraid of sticks, bushes or thickets. It is definitely a product that will also fulfill its task in municipal companies when taking care of green areas, roadsides. It is characterized by a massive construction, solid drive, high-power gears, as well as exceptional durability of the blades.

The advantage is an additional cover to protect against dangerous elements falling from under the mower, e.g. stones. This mower has the option of side shifting, thanks to which we can additionally refine the machine's positioning behind the tractor.

A flail mower not only mows but also mulches the material being cut. What does it involve?

It is a technique of mowing grass/other organic materials and shredding the cut material so that it constitutes a natural fertilizer that fertilizes the soil. The advantage of mulching is also preventing soil erosion, slowing down the growth of weeds and, importantly, getting rid of unwanted mowed grass, which is often an additional problem. We can mulch grass, crop residues, thanks to which we reduce the amount of crop residues, providing the soil with natural fertilizer and protecting against pests that live, for example, in the stems of above-ground parts of plants.

The DPH 175 4FARMER flail mower (mulcher) with hydraulic shift has a cutting width of 175 cm, which is the smaller of the two available widths. In addition to the working shaft equipped with beaters that shred the material, the mower also has a rear (copying) shaft. It allows you to adjust the cutting height and keep the mower at the selected height. Additionally, the machine has chains placed on the opposite side of the safety flap, which makes it ready for even the most difficult conditions.

The drive from the tractor PTO shaft is 540 rpm.

When choosing a flail mower, it is very important to match the mower to the power and weight of our tractor . The DPH 175 flail mower (mulcher) requires a minimum of 60 HP with a large tractor weight.
