The choice of agricultural machines that help maintain green areas is becoming more and more numerous. Currently, we can choose how we want to mow meadows, wastelands, green areas, and what we want to do with the mown grass.
Flail mowers have become a very interesting proposition for many of our customers. Some people call them "special purpose" mowers because they can also mow tall grass without any problems. As the name suggests, flail mowers are mowers in which the mowing function is performed by flails placed spirally on the cutting shaft. The cutting shaft rotates at the appropriate speed, cutting anything above the set height around its axis.
The AM80 long-arm flail mower, commonly known as a " mulcher ", is a heavy-duty mower model with a long reach of the working module. This adjustment is done hydraulically. This type of flail mower offers enormous possibilities. The AM model will work well on sloping areas, for mowing wasteland, green areas in parks, for mowing roadsides, and is irreplaceable for mowing ditches, slopes and even the opposite slope. This machine has a huge range of adjustments, which allows it to be adapted to the shape of even difficult terrain. We can work with the machine in several planes. This is definitely a product that will also fulfill its purpose in municipal companies when taking care of green areas.

A flail mower not only mows the grass, but also mulches it. What is it about?
It is a technique of mowing grass/other organic materials and grinding the cut material so that it becomes a natural fertilizer that fertilizes the soil. The advantage of mulching is also preventing soil erosion, slowing down the growth of weeds and, importantly, getting rid of unwanted mowings, e.g. grass, which is often an additional problem.
We can mulch not only the grass, but also crop residues, thanks to which we reduce the amount of harvest residues, provide the soil with natural fertilizer and protect against pests living, for example, in the stems of the above-ground parts of plants.
The AM80 flail mower (mulcher) has a cutting width of 80 cm. For control, it is equipped with its own hydraulic distributor. The maximum arm reach is 270 cm. The drive from the tractor's PTO shaft is 540 rpm.
When choosing a flail mower, it is very important to select the right mower for the power and weight of our tractor. The AM80 flail mower (mulcher) is suitable for tractors with a power of 20 - 50 HP.
