Clutch disc with a diameter of 275 mm (11 inches), a hub height of 33 mm , internal diameter measured between 40 mm teeth and 35 teeth of a multi-wedge for Japanese tractors and mini tractors of the Kubota M series and others.

The clutch disc is the element responsible for the transmission of power from the engine (crankshaft) to the gearbox (clutch shaft). The disc is made of a hub with a spline, which is mounted on the clutch shaft, and a disc with springs with friction linings of appropriate thickness. The disc pressed with the second element of the clutch, with a clamp, using the frictional force (no friction at the moment of transmission) of these two elements, sets the tractor in motion. The springs in the clutch discs reduce the vibrations generated at high engine speeds.

The first signs of wear of the clutch disc (abrasion) are the so-called slippage of the clutch , which makes it difficult or impossible for the vehicle to move and the tractor does not accelerate when the engine speed is increased. The clutch disc can show signs of wear, even when it is dirty with oil. It is recommended to replace the disc together with the clutch pressure and the thrust bearing, as all these elements are of comparable durability and wear at the same rate. Another sign of wear on the clutch disc is that the gear will not be shifted into gear.
