Clutch disc pads ( 6-05-100-08 ) with a thickness of 4.5 mm for Kubota tractors of the Kubota M7040 series and others.

The clutch disc is the element responsible for transferring the drive from the engine (crankshaft) to the gearbox (clutch shaft). The disc is made of a hub with a spline, which is mounted on the clutch shaft, and a disc with springs and friction linings of appropriate thickness. The disc pressed against the second element of the clutch, the pressure plate, uses the friction force (no friction at the moment of transmission of the drive) of these two elements, and sets the tractor in motion. The springs in the clutch discs are responsible for reducing the vibrations generated during high engine speeds.

Another sign of clutch disc wear is the inability to shift into gear.
