Engine Oil Filter 3/4 "-16UNF, 56 x 76mm, Briggs & Stratton, AL-KO, MTD, Kawasaki
Engine oil filter with 3/4 "-16UNF thread, size 76 x 56 mm for AL-KO mowers, MTD, Huqvarna, John Deere and others with Intek Briggs & Stratton engines and others.
The engine oil filter is a very important element of the lubrication system and its main task is to clean the oil circulating in the engine system from organic and mineral contamination. Metal, screw-on oil filter is a filter whose main task is to remove the smallest impurities from the oil, even 1/50 mm in size. The construction of the filter is very simple and consists of a metal can with a thread and a paper insert inside arranged in the so-called accordion to increase the filter surface. The contamination of the oil for which we use the filter is most often created, in the case of organic contamination, from the breakdown of the oil itself during operation, from fuel residues or by by-products of oxidation. Mineral contaminants are air pollutants and metal particles that appear in the engine during operation. The filter is most often mounted on the side of the engine and a clean, unused oil filter has a direct impact on the operation and life of the engine, fuel consumption and in extreme cases a clogged oil filter may overheat the engine and damage the head gasket. Always replace the oil filter together with the oil change at the frequency specified in the machine's manual.
