What is a seedling planter?

It is used for planting all kinds of non-potted seedlings with a height of 8 - 80 cm in field crops. The planting of seedlings from multi-pot containers can take place in any chosen width between the rows, depending on the requirements of the cultivation. With the help of a planter, we can plant strawberries , cabbage, celery, leek, broccoli, peppers, tobacco, as well as rhizomes and roots, roses and shrubs.

How is the universal double row SU2 160 cm Terol seedling planter equipped?

The SU2 model is a two-row planter, with a 160 cm long support frame mounted on support wheels with two sections. There are 5 grippers on each section. They are self-locking rubber grippers. This model allows planting to a depth of 5 - 25 cm.

Additionally, this machine is equipped with disc coulters mounted on the coulter. For convenience, the planter has two tops for a seedling and a table. There are three speed ranges to choose from - acceleration and deceleration.

The two-row planter is an ideal machine to improve field work, but also save time and effectively make seedlings from containers.

It is also important to set the plowing depth and the pull point, which allows for maintaining a straight path without the need for constant steering correction. Robust agricultural equipment from brands such as Geograss or TRX has been designed to minimize the resistance offered by the soil, which directly translates into lower fuel consumption. Remember that a plow that is too large will cause excessive wheel slip and may lead to premature clutch wear.
