Spacer, thrust bearings of the main shaft , 57.30 mm long (measured at the widest point, height at the top 27.50 mm, width 18.85 mm and thickness 1.90 mm . MT180 and MT224 with Mitsubishi K3C engines .
The main engine bearings are semicircular rings, which are mounted in special grooves (holders) in the engine block, between the crankshaft (main shaft) and the engine block (concerns the middle shaft journals) in order to eliminate the play created during engine operation. The main bearings, bearing the shaft, guarantee the correct position of the shaft in relation to the engine block so that the power generated is transferred as smoothly as possible. The first signs of bearing wear are rattling sounds when starting the engine.
