The principle of operation of a tiller is based on the rotational movement of the main shaft, to which arc-shaped or curved knives are attached, which, when the shafts rotate, cut out parts of the earth, crushing and loosening the soil.
Additional equipment for the separating tiller is a stone separator , i.e. a separating device designed to cover stones with a layer of processed soil. Vertical tines placed just behind the working roller intercept stones extracted by the tiller and, by sliding them, dig them into a deeper layer of soil. On the other hand, the string roller placed at the very end of the machine is responsible for leveling the ground.
The intensity of soil loosening is regulated by the speed of the PTO/PTO rotary shaft and the driving speed of the tractor itself. The working depth of all tillers is about 20 cm. The separation tiller is a basic tool for cultivating the land, but also for establishing meadows, gardens and lawns.
This versatile device is also used in horticulture, often for weeding between rows or preparing the soil for new plantings.
*The machine is offset 5 cm to the right of the axis.
