The V-belt is an element that is used to transfer the drive from the engine or transmission to the equipment or device. Most often, V-belts are used to drive an alternator, coolant pump or compressor, and in agriculture, belts are used in agricultural equipment and equipment that are subjected to high rotational speeds. V-belts are the most frequently wearing parts of agricultural machines due to the material they are made of and damage resulting from overloads during machine operation. Replace a worn V-belt with a new one as soon as possible to prevent an accident or damage to the machine. A badly installed V-belt or an incorrectly set tensioner, too little or too much tension on the V-belt can cause faster wear.
