Clutch pressure plate / 8-1/2" / Iseki / 7-26-110-03
Clutch pressure plate (plate 8-05-100-02 ) with a housing diameter of 268 mm for Iseki and other tractors.
The clutch pressure plate is an element connecting the gearbox with the engine and is thus responsible for transferring the torque from the engine through the gearbox to the tractor's traction system. Simplifying this whole complicated process, the clutch pressure plate is responsible for moving the tractor, starting, stopping and shifting the forward speed. The clutch pressure plate consists of a housing, release springs and a disc, and its main task is to exert the appropriate friction force on the clutch disc, a force sufficient so that these two elements (the pressure plate and the disc) do not rotate at different speeds.
Dimensions :
The first signs of a worn clutch are an unnatural sound when pressing or releasing the clutch pedal, an unpleasant smell or grinding of the gearbox. When replacing the clutch, it is recommended to replace all components (disc, pressure plate, bearing) because these components often wear out at the same time.
