Water temperature sensor

Water temperature sensor functions:

• Temperature Monitoring: The water temperature sensor monitors the temperature of the engine coolant. When the temperature exceeds a safe range, the sensor sends a signal to the indicator on the dashboard or to the on-board computer.
• Overheating Warning: If the coolant temperature becomes too high, the sensor can trigger a warning alarm to prevent engine damage.
• Engine tuning: In modern tractors, the water temperature sensor can work with the engine management system (ECU) to adjust engine operating parameters, such as air-fuel mixture and ignition timing, to optimize performance and efficiency.

Thermostat

Thermostat functions:

• Coolant Flow Control: The thermostat opens and closes to control the flow of coolant from the engine to the radiator. When the engine is cold, the thermostat remains closed, allowing the engine to warm up more quickly. When the engine reaches optimal temperature, the thermostat opens, allowing coolant to flow through the radiator for cooling.
• Maintaining optimal temperature: The thermostat helps keep the engine in the optimal temperature range, which is crucial for efficient operation and engine longevity.
