PTO shaft with a total length of 850 mm (minimum) for 4FARMER tillers of the SB 4FARMER , MZ 4FARMER and other series.

The power take-off shaft is a shaft that transmits power. Rotational movement from the tractor to the attached machine and is designed to work at an angle to the tractor. The power take-off shaft consists of 2 crosses, 2 pairs of forks and a telescopic triangular tube. The PTO shaft is the common name for three types of shaft:

  • tractor power take-off shaft (PTO),
  • power transmission shaft, e.g. tubular or telescopic,
  • power take-off shaft in the machine (WPM).

The cross-joint telescopic shaft comes in several types and is divided according to the length and the value of the transmitted torque. The minimum torque value is the parameter that is the main parameter that we must consider when choosing a shaft. The nominal Nm value is the value of the transmitted torque, which decreases with the extension of the shaft above the value specified by the manufacturer.
