Product description

The TL type tiller is a lightweight tiller designed for smaller tractors and mini tractors, and it is an indispensable piece of equipment for loosening and leveling the soil. It is used to mechanically move the compacted soil, perfectly removes weeds and aerates it.

The tiller is equipped with metal curved knives mounted on the axle shaft, which are used to aerate the soil. The tiller has an angular gear and the axis of the knives is driven by a chain placed on a toothed wheel on the side of the tiller .

The tiller is perfect for every farm and garden, both when setting up lawns and cleaning or preparing the ground for cultivation.

The TL 85 tiller mounted on the 3-point hitch of the Kat-1 tractor and driven by the tractor's PTO shaft, 540 rpm.

The machine has knives embedded in 4 pieces on one section, a total of 16 pieces and a strong angular gear. The working width of the tiller is 85 cm .

The tiller is dedicated to small tractors and mini tractors with a recommended power of 10 to 35 HP.

Rotary tillers will find their application in agriculture and gardening. In horticulture to establish lawns or vegetable crops, and in fruit and vine cultivation to destroy weeds in the inter-rows.

It is assumed that for each plow body (furrow) with a width of approx. 20-25 cm, a mini tractor should have a power of 8 to 12 HP, depending on the soil compactness. For machines with 15-20 HP, the optimal solution is usually a single-furrow plow, while units over 22-25 HP with 4x4 drive can handle a light two-furrow plow. It is also important to set the plowing depth and the pull point, which allows for maintaining a straight path without the need for constant steering correction. Robust agricultural equipment from brands such as Geograss or TRX has been designed to minimize the resistance offered by the soil, which directly translates into lower fuel consumption. Remember that a plow that is too large will cause excessive wheel slip and may lead to premature clutch wear.
