Product description
Thanks to the possibilities of modern production of agricultural machinery , as well as technological progress, work on a farm is becoming less burdensome and more automated. For many farms, agricultural machinery is invaluable, allowing for saving time, but also providing better efficiency of the work performed.
The Upus Z656 conveyor digger by Bomet is a single-row machine mounted on a Cat II three-point linkage and powered by the tractor's PTO. The digger uses road wheels (metal or rubber) with the ability to adjust the depth of digging the ridge. The ridge with potatoes is dug by a suitably positioned blade and then goes to the sieving belt (55 cm wide). Due to the movement and shaking of the belt, the ridge is crushed and the soil pours through the conveyor rods, while simultaneously transporting the dug-out tuber / plant root towards the rear of the machine.
At the back of the potato digger , additional equipment has been used in the form of a specially profiled chute grid that directs the dug-out potatoes onto the ridge behind the digger. The chute grid allows for the dug-out potato tubers to be placed in such a way as to limit damage from the tractor tires during the next pass.
Additionally, the digger can be fitted with rubber lining on the sides of the conveyor rods to minimise damage to the tubers.
*The model presented in the offer has metal wheels, a chute grid and no additional equipment with a rubber cover.
