Rod pin 3 x 20 mm / Stiga Tornado 2098 AP / 112141418/0

Locking pin with a working length of 20 mm and a diameter of 3 mm for Stiga lawn mower tractors for:

  • gear lever,
  • travel drive change lever.

A locking pin is an element that prevents elements connected by pins or other elements placed on shafts or shaft axes and others from slipping, sliding or moving. Safety pins are also used to protect nuts against spontaneous unscrewing. The locking pin is most often a part made of a wire with a semicircular cross-section. A safety pin almost always has an eye and the ends of the pin are always cut in opposite directions. We use cotter pins only in elements that are not subject to high pressure or rotation forces.

The company, founded in Sweden, initially produced sports equipment for table tennis and hockey. In 1954, the company started producing engine lawn mowers, and in the following years Stiga expanded its product range to include garden tractors and petrol lawn mowers.

A major achievement was the introduction of the Stiga Garden battery-powered mower to the market, for which the company was awarded the "Nordic Golden Swan" in 1955. Over the years, Stiga has gained not only the gardening market, but also the table tennis market.

In 2000, the Italian manufacturer of lawn mowers and garden tools, Castelgarden, as well as Alpina, an Italian factory of tractors, mowers and chainsaws, also joined the Stiga group. Currently, Stiga products can be found in over 80 countries around the world, including: in Australia, Venezuela, Zambia and Taiwan.

Today, STIGA is a well-known brand of lawn mowers and a wide range of electric gardening equipment, distributed throughout Europe and beyond.
