Clutch / disc + pressure plate / VST Fieldtrac 270D/927 / BFA10A00020A0
Clutch, pressure plate + clutch disc for VST tractors , VST Fieldtrac 270D series, VST Fieldtrac 927 and others.
The clutch disc pressure is an element connecting the gearbox with the engine and is therefore responsible for transferring torque from the engine, through the gearbox, to the tractor's running gear. Simplifying this entire complicated process, the clutch pressure is responsible for moving the tractor, starting, stopping and changing the speed ratio. The clutch pressure plate consists of a housing, release springs and a disc, and its main task is to exert an appropriate friction force on the clutch disc, a force sufficient to prevent these two elements (pressure plate and disc) from rotating at different speeds.
The clutch disc is the element responsible for transferring power from the engine (crankshaft) to the gearbox (clutch shaft). The disc is composed of a hub with a spline, which is mounted on the clutch shaft and a disc with springs with appropriately thick friction linings. The disc pressed by the second element of the clutch, the pressure plate, uses the frictional force (no friction at the moment of power transmission) of these two elements, and sets the tractor in motion. The springs in the clutch discs are responsible for reducing vibrations produced at high engine speeds.

The first signs of clutch disc wear (abrasion) are the so-called slipping of the clutch, which makes it difficult or impossible for the vehicle to move and means that when the engine speed increases, the tractor does not accelerate. The clutch disc may show signs of wear, even when it is dirty with oil. It is recommended to replace the disc together with the clutch pressure plate and release bearing, because all these elements have comparable durability and wear out at the same rate. Another sign of worn clutch disc is the inability to shift into gear.
The first signs of a worn clutch are an unnatural sound when pressing or squeezing the clutch pedal, an unpleasant odor or a grinding noise in the gearbox. When replacing the clutch, it is recommended to replace all elements (disc, pressure plate, bearing) because these elements often wear out at the same time.

VST Tillers Tractors is the number 1 company producing mini tractors and small tractors for the horticultural and agricultural industries in India. The company was established in 1911 and at the beginning of its activity it dealt with petroleum products and car sales.
In 1967, near the city of Bangalore, VST Tillers began production, producing small engines and small agricultural equipment, and in 1984, in cooperation with the Japanese company Mitsubishi Agricultural Machinery, it produced the first mini tractor. For over 50 years, VST Tillers tractors has been improving its products and introducing new agricultural solutions to meet the expectations of customers around the world.
VST is present in over 20 countries and is increasingly chosen as a manufacturer of machines in the compact tractor sector. At the beginning of their activity, VST Tillers products could be found under the trade name VST Mitsubishi, but for over a decade, VST products have had their own trade brands, including VST Shakti, Fieldtrac, VST Euro, and despite the passage of time and the company's global reach, VST mini tractors are still powered by their own engines. , which were built in cooperation with Mitsubishi (Mitsubishi Agricultural Machinery).
Thanks to the growing reputation and high quality of equipment production , VST Tilllers machines have successfully entered the Asian, European and American markets.
