A very interesting and increasingly popular method is the option of mulching using a plug. Grass fragments are retained under the unit, shredded, and then thrown onto the lawn with high air force. The grass decomposes over time, which acts as a natural fertilizer and fertilizes the soil.
This is an original grinding plug for Cub Cadet and MTD tractors.
