PTO / PTO backstop for a tractor with a maximum power of 70 HP + adapter reducing the dimensions of the PTO shaft with the dimensions 1.1 / 8 "(female) / 1.3 / 8" (male).

What is a directional clutch?

The overload clutch is designed to instantly disconnect the drive shafts to prevent damage or failure of the machine, device or tractor. Overload couplings are present in all branches of industry and differ from each other in the manner of assembly, the type of coupling and the torque limit value, and most importantly, the directional clutch is not destroyed after the task is completed (drive disconnection after excessive load).

The main task of the one-way PTO / PTO clutch is to transmit the torque and connect and disconnect the drive shafts. The backstop is widely used in agriculture. Machines and devices using the PTO shaft rotation operate at very high revolutions. For the safety of the machine and the tractor, a PTO / PTO shaft adapter with a clutch is used as a protection.

When do we use a single direction clutch?

Japanese cultivators of various manufacturers and brands, where the adapter can be mounted between the tractor PTO shaft or the PTO shaft and the device. During the operation of the device, the rotation direction may change or the machine may suddenly stop, and at this point our clutch disengages and works in idle mode without the need to turn off the PTO drive in the tractor.

Before each use of the adapter, it is recommended to properly lubricate it using the kalimitki attached to the adapter .
