Alternator for Kubota L3408, Kubota L3608, Kubota L4508, Kubota L4708, Kubota M5000 tractors with a voltage of 12V and a generated power of 45A with Kubota D1403 engines and others.
An alternator is a device that converts mechanical energy into direct current, alternating current, thanks to which it powers the tractor's electrical system, including the battery. The alternator produces current only when the engine is running and is driven by a belt drive. The first signs of alternator damage are a control lamp that does not go out, flashes or does not light up at all, the so-called: battery charging lamp while the tractor's engine glow plugs are heating. On the other hand, the lamp lighting up while the tractor is running may indicate an incorrect voltage supplied by the alternator to the battery.
