Product description

Engine oil filter 3/4"-16UNF , 120 mm high, 80 mm outer diameter for Kubota tractors of the Kubota L185, Kubota L1801, Kubota L2201, Kubota L245, Kubota L1500, Kubota L1501, Kubota L4150, Kubota L3750 series with Kubota D950, Kubota D1105, Kubota D1503T, Kubota D662-BH, Kubota V1505, Kubota V1902 and other engines.

The engine oil filter is a very important element of the lubrication system and its main task is to clean the oil circulating in the engine system from organic and mineral impurities. The metal oil filter , screw-on, is a filter whose main task is to remove the smallest impurities from the oil, even 1/50 mm in size. The filter construction is very simple and consists of a metal can with a thread and a paper insert inside arranged in a so-called accordion to increase the filtration surface. Oil contamination, for which we use the filter, most often arises, in the case of organic impurities, from the breakdown of the oil itself during operation, from fuel residues or are by-products of oxidation. Mineral impurities are air impurities and metal particles that appear in the engine during operation.

The filter is most often mounted on the side of the engine and a clean, unused oil filter has a direct impact on the operation and life of the engine, fuel consumption and in extreme cases a clogged oil filter can lead to engine overheating and damage to the head gasket. The oil filter should always be replaced together with the oil change at the frequency specified in the machine's operating instructions.

Questions & Answers

Why is regular filter replacement (oil, air, fuel) crucial for a mini tractor?

User
Ekspert Traktor.com.pl – Doradca techniczny • 17.02.2026
Regular filter replacement is the easiest way to extend the life of an engine from brands like Kubota or Yanmar. The oil filter removes metallic contaminants generated during operation, the air filter protects the cylinders from field dust, and the fuel filter prevents water and dirt from damaging the precision injection system. We recommend replacing filters every 50-100 operating hours or at least once per season to ensure optimal engine performance.

How to properly select and sharpen mower blades for a Japanese tractor?

User
Ekspert Traktor.com.pl – Doradca techniczny • 17.02.2026
When selecting mower blades, consider the mower deck model and the blade length and center bore diameter. Maintaining blade balance is crucial when sharpening – an unbalanced blade causes vibrations that damage the hub bearings. Remember that sharp blades mean healthier grass, a cleaner cut, and less strain on the engine of your Iseki or Mitsubishi tractor.

How to identify the correct V-belt size and how to care for it?

User
Ekspert Traktor.com.pl – Doradca techniczny • 17.02.2026
It's best to read the markings on the side of the old V-belt. If they are illegible, measure the belt width and its outer length (La). On Shibaura and Hinomoto tractors, it's important to regularly check the belt tension – too loose a belt will cause slippage and faster wear, while too tight a belt can cause alternator or water pump bearing failure.
