The clutch pressure is an element connecting the gearbox with the engine and is therefore responsible for transferring torque from the engine, through the gearbox, to the tractor's running gear. Simplifying this entire complicated process, the clutch pressure is responsible for moving the tractor, starting, stopping and changing the speed ratio. The clutch pressure plate consists of a housing, release springs and a disc, and its main task is to exert an appropriate friction force on the clutch disc, a force sufficient to prevent these two elements (pressure plate and disc) from rotating at different speeds.
