The glow plug module , also called a relay or controller, is an electronic device that determines the duration of heating of the glow plugs in our tractor. The relay monitors and manages the operation of the spark plugs using temperature data from a sensor located in the engine. A properly functioning candle heating module is necessary for proper engine starting, especially at low temperatures. The controller with a built-in microcontroller, using information from the sensors, determines the parameters that determine the correct heating of the candles, i.e. it determines the time and current that flows to the candles and thus increases their temperature and heats them to the required value needed to start the engine. The candle heating sensor is most often activated by the movement of the key in the ignition.
