The company, founded in Sweden, initially produced sports equipment for table tennis and hockey. In 2000, the Italian manufacturer of lawn mowers and garden tools, Castelgarden, as well as Alpina, an Italian factory of tractors, mowers and chainsaws, also joined the Stiga group. Currently, Stiga products can be found in over 80 countries around the world, including: in Australia, Venezuela, Zambia and Taiwan. Today, STIGA is a well-known brand of lawn mowers and a wide range of electric gardening equipment, distributed throughout Europe and beyond.
