Flail mower EFN 105 hammers
The choice of agricultural machinery that helps maintain green areas is becoming larger and larger. Currently, we can choose how we want to mow meadows, wastelands, green areas, and what we want to do with the mown grass.
Flail mowers have become a very interesting proposition for many of our customers. Some people call them mowers for "special tasks" because they can also easily mow tall grass or heavily overgrown areas. As the name suggests, flail mowers, these are mowers in which the mowing function is performed by flails placed on the cutting shaft. The cutting shaft rotates at the appropriate speed, cutting off whatever is above the set height around its axis.
A very interesting solution isthe EFN 105 "hammer" flail mower
Flail mower (mulching), light class, model EFN 105. Light class mowers are perfect for smaller tractors, up to 30 HP.
Application:
- mowing all kinds of wastelands
- mowing roadsides
- mowing green areas in cities
- maintenance of pastures, meadows, recreational areas and bushes for cleaning purposes
- mowing green areas in parks
- as a cleaning machine in horticulture and nursery
Advantages:
- can be used without any problems in urban areas because the number of flying stones and their impact are very limited
- when caring for lawns, there is no need to collect mulched grass if this procedure is repeated quite often
- can also cope in unkempt areas with more stones, branches and other obstacles
- cut green material quickly turns into humus, and old grass does not grow back as quickly
- has double protection against damage to the gear: the hammers bounce off a stable obstacle, the belts on the pulleys slip if there is too much resistance
- the gearbox has a one-way clutch
- simple structure ensures reliability and low repair costs
