The company also produced Yanmar tractors and STIHL power tools. Currently, this brand belongs to IHI, a leading manufacturer of jet engines, power generators and industrial machines. The company started production with engines and garden tractors. After ending the cooperation with Ford, the company began to produce tractors and mini tractors under its own trade name. Currently, Shibaura has factories in Great Britain, the United States and China. The first compact tractors were created in 1961. To date, Shibaura has produced approximately 70 tractor models.
