Potato cultivation in Poland began in 1683, when the potato tubers were brought by King Jan III Sobieski during his return from the Vienna expedition. Of course, potato cultivation has changed dramatically since then. This is not to say that those systems of cultivation of this raw material were bad, but certainly time worked in favor here. Currently, the harvesting of tubers, as well as the potato cultivation itself, is mostly mechanized work. The consumer receives a clean product, often already packed. Of course, this valuable agricultural machine, such as a potato ridger, is dedicated to all inter-row crops for vegetables that grow in ridges (potatoes, beets).

The Demarol 2-section single-row potato ridger is an exceptionally versatile product. With its help, we will shape ridges, preparing the designated area for planting potatoes or crops that require planting in ridges. In addition, this treatment loosens the soil and removes weeds. This makes the hiller a very versatile machine, helpful not only as the name suggests when ridding potatoes .

Thanks to the well-thought-out construction of the hiller, the working width of our work can be adjusted in the range from 52 cm to 94 cm. Two arms placed on a 100 cm beam are responsible for our work. Each of the arms has a coulter (goose foot) mounted at the end, it is adjustable, which will allow you to adjust the working depth. In addition, the hiller on the shoulders has one copying wheel, which maintains a constant working height and stable driving. With the help of the 2-section hiller, we can create one row of ridges during one pass.

For proper operation, this hiller requires a tractor with a minimum power of 14 HP.
