Cylinder liner, 178 mm long, outer diameter 91.20 mm and inner diameter 85.90 mm , for Kubota L-1 series tractors.

The dry pressed cylinder sleeve is an element whose task is to separate the working piston from the engine block. The main task of the piston sleeve is to accumulate the energy generated during fuel combustion in the air. The use of the piston sleeve significantly extends the life of the engine and allows the use of a lighter or cheaper material for the construction of the block itself.

The first signs of wear of the piston sleeves are excessive oil consumption, problems with starting the engine , reduced engine power or engine overheating . It is recommended to replace the sleeves as soon as possible if damage to the sleeve is detected. The sleeves should be replaced together with the matched pistons.
