Product description

182 x 24 mm hydraulic oil strainer with M28 x 2.00 cylindrical thread for Japanese Iseki tractors and mini tractors of the TU series and others.

The hydraulic oil filter element is most often placed directly in the tractor's gearbox or in the hydraulic system and is designed to catch larger impurities. The mesh filter is often called a prefilter and is sometimes the only filter in the system. Most often, in addition to the mesh filter, the tractor's hydraulic system includes two or three standard, screw-on hydraulic filters . There are also many models on the market in which the mesh filter is the only filter of the system. The mesh filter of the hydraulic box is replaced only when it is mechanically damaged. The mesh filter is a filter that, if cleaned regularly (e.g. with hot water under pressure), can be successfully used for many years.

Replacing the hydraulic filter (regularly) and cleaning the insert in the case of a mesh filter is a guarantee of trouble-free operation of the machine and the certainty that there are no foreign objects in the hydraulic system that may damage our tractor or negatively affect the operation of the machine by reducing its operating parameters. The rules for replacing the hydraulic filter in new tractors are described in detail in the machine's instruction manual and it is usually after the first 50 hours of operation (at least 3 cycles). The hydraulic filter is most often a metal filter with a thread and a gasket , which is mounted near the tractor box exactly in the oil flow of the hydraulic system , usually from the bottom of the box or under the floor of our tractor. The main task of the hydraulic filter is to clean the hydraulic oil, stop all impurities that get into the hydraulic system or are generated during the use of the tractor, e.g. solid (mineral) particles that are generated during the operation of the machine. We change the standard screw-on hydraulic filter every time we change the hydraulic oil or when the vehicle is used frequently, for mini tractors it is approximately every 100 hours for used tractors. The cartridge of the hydraulic filter, the so-called we replace the mesh filter only when it has been mechanically damaged.

Questions & Answers

Why is regular filter replacement (oil, air, fuel) crucial for a mini tractor?

User

Regular filter replacement is the easiest way to extend the life of an engine from brands like Kubota or Yanmar. The oil filter removes metallic contaminants generated during operation, the air filter protects the cylinders from field dust, and the fuel filter prevents water and dirt from damaging the precision injection system. We recommend replacing filters every 50-100 operating hours or at least once per season to ensure optimal engine performance.

How to properly select and sharpen mower blades for a Japanese tractor?

When selecting mower blades, consider the mower deck model and the blade length and center bore diameter. Maintaining blade balance is crucial when sharpening – an unbalanced blade causes vibrations that damage the hub bearings. Remember that sharp blades mean healthier grass, a cleaner cut, and less strain on the engine of your Iseki or Mitsubishi tractor.

How to identify the correct V-belt size and how to care for it?

User
Ekspert Traktor.com.pl – Doradca techniczny • 17.02.2026
It's best to read the markings on the side of the old V-belt. If they are illegible, measure the belt width and its outer length (La). On Shibaura and Hinomoto tractors, it's important to regularly check the belt tension – too loose a belt will cause slippage and faster wear, while too tight a belt can cause alternator or water pump bearing failure.
