A thrust sleeve, a sliding sleeve is a sleeve designed to work in difficult conditions and which, due to the production process and the use of appropriate raw materials, have a very high abrasion resistance and are capable of carrying heavy loads. The plain bearing , as it is sometimes called, often has an internal groove or bore to facilitate access of the lubricant to the contact surfaces.
