Piston rings with a diameter of 73 mm and a thickness of 2.50 x 2.00 x 2.00 x 4.00 mm for Iseki tractors, Iseki TX1300 series, with Mitsubishi Ke70 engines and others.
Piston rings seal the space between the piston walls and the cylinder walls. During the combustion of the fuel mixture in the engine chamber, chemical energy is exchanged for mechanical energy, which is why we care about the tightness of these two elements. The second important role played by piston rings in the engine is to scrape excess oil from the cylinder walls during the piston's movement, thus ensuring proper lubrication. In combustion engines, we distinguish three basic types of rings: sealing rings, scraper rings, compression-scraper rings.
When replacing the rings, special attention should be paid to the order in which they are placed on the piston. The rings are installed in the correct order, the scraper ring is installed first, the sealing ring second and the oil ring is installed third.

The first signs of piston ring wear include increased fuel consumption, loss of engine oil, loss of power, black smoke from the exhaust pipe of a warm engine, uneven engine operation at idle speed, an unnatural, easily audible sound from the engine area, loss of power, problems with starting the engine. All symptoms should be consulted with a professional service for proper diagnosis and checking the engine for the need to replace the rings or repair the engine.
