Camshaft 301 mm long for VST MT180 and V ST MT224 tractors with Mitsubishi K3C engines. The camshaft, also known as the camshaft, is a part of the 4-stroke engine responsible for opening and closing the valves and is one of the most moving and most loaded engine elements in the entire timing system. The camshaft makes one revolution in the engine cycle for two revolutions of the crankshaft and for the engine to operate properly, both of these elements must be perfectly synchronized. On the shaft are permanently placed cams made of alloy steel, integrated with the shaft, which rotate with the camshaft and control the valves. The first symptoms of a worn shaft in the timing system are loud and uneven engine operation, loss of power or increased fuel consumption.
