The cylinder head gasket is a gasket that is installed at the point where the engine head connects to the engine block. The point where the block connects to the head must be tight for the engine to operate correctly. The cylinder head gasket is designed to seal the operation of the cylinders, coolant channels and lubrication channels and to separate and prevent the two fluids from mixing. The second task of the gasket is thermal insulation, because part of the engine block can heat up from the working combustion chambers, even up to 2000 degrees Celsius. The first signs of wear, burnout of the head gasket j are uneven operation of the warmed-up engine, loss of coolant l or oil, the presence of oil in the coolant and coolant in the engine oil or air bubbles visible to the naked eye in the coolant (expansion tank).
