Engine piston (rings 6-26-100-50) with an outer diameter of 84 mm and an overall height of 87.50 mm for Shibaura tractors of the Shibaura D258F series with Shibaura N844 engines and others. The engine piston is a moving part responsible for converting gas and energy generated during combustion to the crankshaft, and thus into engine power. The piston is connected to the crankshaft by a connecting rod with pin connections. At the top of the piston are annular channels for mounting the piston rings, and in the center is a hub for connecting to the connecting rod. At the top is the so-called crown, which can have different shapes depending on the engine type. Due to the very harsh operating conditions, engine pistons are most often made of aluminum and silicon alloys.
