Product description
The 150 cm 4FARMER sweeper with basket is attached to the tractor via a Cat I or Cat II rear three-point linkage and is powered by a power take-off shaft (PTO). This model has a working width of 150 cm.
How does a sweeper work?
The cleaning mechanism is a roller with dense polypropylene bristles. It is driven by power transmitted from the tractor. The sweeper is equipped with a basket located behind the roller. As the roller rotates, it removes debris, collecting it in the basket. This container is opened hydraulically using a hydraulic cylinder (hydraulic outlets from the tractor are required).
A machine for special tasks.
Additionally, the sweeper is equipped with a side brush. The side brush is mounted on an adjustable arm and sweeps debris from surfaces and corners that the sweeper shaft cannot reach. These are most often found near curbs, walls, and shelves. The side brush is mounted on the right side of the sweeper .
- The side brush bristles are made of two types of material – polypropylene bristles and wire bristles,
- The diameter of the side brush is 50 cm,
- The brush can be adjusted in three planes.
A noteworthy advantage is the brush's reaction to obstacles – it retracts and then returns to its original position after clearing the obstacle. A properly adjusted side brush (brush face) should be slightly tilted forward. Properly adjusting the height and angle of the side brush will increase sweeping efficiency and reduce excessive brush wear.
The efficient operation of a tractor sweeper is ensured by guide wheels, which allow for proper alignment of the sweeper to the surface being cleaned. It's important to remember that excessive bristle pressure on the surface being cleaned will result in excessive wear.
