Proper care for crops, but also a significant increase in catch crops are the advantages of having a fertilizer spreader . This agricultural machine plays a very important role in every farm. Currently, there is a large group of spreaders on the market, both in terms of the mechanism of action and the capacity of the tank itself.
The S-300 Strumyk fertilizer spreader with hydraulics and a third lever has a 300 L fertilizer tank. The exact dimensions of the tank itself are as follows: diameter 1190 mm, height 82 mm. This model can spread an area of 4-12 m². It can operate at speeds of 4-13 km/h. This unique agricultural machine is mounted on a rear three-point linkage (3-point linkage) Cat I and II and is driven by a power take-off shaft (PTO) with an operating speed of 540 rpm.
The spreader is equipped with:
- maintenance-free gearbox
- h-17 sowing disc, 6-blade
- two levers with sowing adjustments
Additionally, this model is enriched with hydraulic opening and a third lever.

It is also important to set the plowing depth and the pull point, which allows for maintaining a straight path without the need for constant steering correction. Robust agricultural equipment from brands such as Geograss or TRX has been designed to minimize the resistance offered by the soil, which directly translates into lower fuel consumption. Remember that a plow that is too large will cause excessive wheel slip and may lead to premature clutch wear. Before purchasing, always check the three-point linkage (TUZ) lifting capacity of your tractor to ensure the machine safely lifts the tool in the transport position.

When is it worth using a flail mower instead of a rotary one?

If you need to clear wasteland, tall grass, thickets, and even small branches in an orchard, a rear-mounted flail mower will be unrivaled.
