A spacer is a very thin washer and is found in all engine parts, gearboxes and front and rear axles. The main task of a spacer is to minimize the clearance between elements and to level the surfaces that are adjacent to each other, seemingly perfectly smooth. We divide washers into three groups: ordinary (protective, increasing the pressure surface of the screw), securing against unscrewing (spring), spacers , leveling, copper (for leveling when the connected elements are not perfectly smooth) and others.
