Product description

Seal, oil seal with an internal diameter of 42 mm , external diameter of 55 mm and height of 9 mm for Kubota tractors of the Kubota L1500, Kubota L1501, Kubota L2000 series and others for:

  • front axle reduction gear,
  • main shaft bearing housings.

A seal is a rubber ring (also called a simmering, Simmer ring, after the inventor), which is most often made of rubber or other plastic that meets the assumed technical requirements. A simmer is used to seal rotating elements of a system with a maximum internal pressure of up to 0.1 MPa and which, during operation, are immersed, most often in a funnel, various types of lubricants, and sometimes gasoline or water. The most common use of seals is to seal shafts and power transmission systems or drive systems of machines and devices. There are different types of seals, the most common are cassette seals (two-part), sealing rings with a spring around them or seals with a partially metal housing (cover).

Questions & Answers

Why is regular filter replacement (oil, air, fuel) crucial for a mini tractor?

User
Ekspert Traktor.com.pl – Doradca techniczny • 17.02.2026
Regular filter replacement is the easiest way to extend the life of an engine from brands like Kubota or Yanmar. The oil filter removes metallic contaminants generated during operation, the air filter protects the cylinders from field dust, and the fuel filter prevents water and dirt from damaging the precision injection system. We recommend replacing filters every 50-100 operating hours or at least once per season to ensure optimal engine performance.

How to properly select and sharpen mower blades for a Japanese tractor?

User
Ekspert Traktor.com.pl – Doradca techniczny • 17.02.2026
When selecting mower blades, consider the mower deck model and the blade length and center bore diameter. Maintaining blade balance is crucial when sharpening – an unbalanced blade causes vibrations that damage the hub bearings. Remember that sharp blades mean healthier grass, a cleaner cut, and less strain on the engine of your Iseki or Mitsubishi tractor.

How to identify the correct V-belt size and how to care for it?

User
Ekspert Traktor.com.pl – Doradca techniczny • 17.02.2026
It's best to read the markings on the side of the old V-belt. If they are illegible, measure the belt width and its outer length (La). On Shibaura and Hinomoto tractors, it's important to regularly check the belt tension – too loose a belt will cause slippage and faster wear, while too tight a belt can cause alternator or water pump bearing failure.
