Mounted plows consist of frame units with a hanger, plow bodies, a hitch for tillage tools, and a feeler wheel. Mounted plows are available in options from 2 to 5 furrows. They may differ in the dimensions of the frame, hanger, suspension and wheel profiles.
The frame is a welded, strong grate made of steel pipes with a cross-section of 120x80x5 (for a 2-furrow plow), 120x80x5 (for a 3-furrow plow), 120x80x5 (for a 4-furrow plow), and 140x80x6 (for a 5-furrow plow).
Compared to 2-3 furrow plows , 4-5 furrow plows have a higher suspension hanger, a longer suspension axis, wider wheels, and a support.
A movable hitch for hanging the plow on the tractor is mounted in the front part of the frame. The horizontal, transverse movement of the suspension axle allows you to change the width of the first furrow depending on the wheel track and tire size of the tractor.
The 75 cm 3L-1 three-furrow plow has blades with the following dimensions: length 40 cm, width approx. 40 cm. The total length of the plow is 185 cm, height 90 cm, width 90 cm.
The working width is 75cm. It has a support wheel and left/right/tilt angle adjustment. The height of the pole is 50 cm.

It is assumed that for each plow body (furrow) with a width of approx. 20-25 cm, a mini tractor should have a power of 8 to 12 HP, depending on the soil compactness. For machines with 15-20 HP, the optimal solution is usually a single-furrow plow, while units over 22-25 HP with 4x4 drive can handle a light two-furrow plow. It is also important to set the plowing depth and the pull point, which allows for maintaining a straight path without the need for constant steering correction. Robust agricultural equipment from brands such as Geograss or TRX has been designed to minimize the resistance offered by the soil, which directly translates into lower fuel consumption. Remember that a plow that is too large will cause excessive wheel slip and may lead to premature clutch wear. Before purchasing, always check the three-point linkage (TUZ) lifting capacity of your tractor to ensure the machine safely lifts the tool in the transport position.

When is it worth using a flail mower instead of a rotary one?

The key advantage of a flail mower (so-called mulcher) is its ability to work in extremely difficult conditions where a regular mower could fail. If you need to clear wasteland, tall grass, thickets, and even small branches in an orchard, a rear-mounted flail mower will be unrivaled.
