Engine piston (rings) with an outside diameter of 73 mm (nominal size STD) and a total height of 72 mm for Mitsubishi tractors of the Mitsubishi MT17D series with Mitsubishi K4D-DI engines and others. The engine piston is a moving element responsible for converting gas and energy generated during combustion to the crankshaft, and then to engine power. The piston is connected to the crankshaft by an element called a connecting rod with pin connections. At the top of the piston there are annular channels for mounting the piston rings, in the middle there is a hub for connecting to the connecting rod. At the top there is the so-called bottom, which may have a different shape depending on the type of engine. Due to work in very difficult conditions, engine pistons are most often made of aluminum and silicon alloys.
