Product description

Engine piston (rings 1G962-21112, head gasket 1G962-03313-D902) with an outer diameter of 72 mm and an overall height of 56.30 mm for Kubota tractors and other machines of the Kubota BX25, Kubota BX2350D, Kubota KX018, Kubota KX41, Kubota KX41-3, Kubota RTV900, Kubota U17, Kubota ZD323 series with Kubota D902 engines. The engine piston is a moving element responsible for converting the gas and energy produced during combustion into the crankshaft, and thus into engine power. The piston is connected to the crankshaft by a component called a connecting rod with pin connections. At the top of the piston are annular channels for seating the piston rings, and inside is a hub for connection to the connecting rod. At the top is the so-called the bottom, which may have a different shape depending on the engine type. Due to operating in very harsh conditions, engine pistons are most often made of aluminum and silicon alloys.

Questions & Answers

Why is regular filter replacement (oil, air, fuel) crucial for a mini tractor?

User
Traktor.com.pl Expert – Technical Advisor • 17.02.2026
Regular filter replacement is the easiest way to extend the life of an engine from brands like Kubota or Yanmar. The oil filter removes metallic contaminants generated during operation, the air filter protects the cylinders from field dust, and the fuel filter prevents water and dirt from damaging the precision injection system. We recommend replacing filters every 50-100 operating hours or at least once per season to ensure optimal engine performance.

How to properly select and sharpen mower blades for a Japanese tractor?

User
Traktor.com.pl Expert – Technical Advisor • 17.02.2026
When selecting mower blades, consider the mower deck model and the blade length and center bore diameter. Maintaining blade balance is crucial when sharpening – an unbalanced blade causes vibrations that damage the hub bearings. Remember that sharp blades mean healthier grass, a cleaner cut, and less strain on the engine of your Iseki or Mitsubishi tractor.

How to identify the correct V-belt size and how to care for it?

User
Traktor.com.pl Expert – Technical Advisor • 17.02.2026
It's best to read the markings on the side of the old V-belt. If they are illegible, measure the belt width and its outer length (La). On Shibaura and Hinomoto tractors, it's important to regularly check the belt tension – too loose a belt will cause slippage and faster wear, while too tight a belt can cause alternator or water pump bearing failure.
