Engine piston (piston 6-23-100-02, 1Α041-21112, 1A091-21113, 6-23-100-27, 1G796-21112) with an outer diameter of 24.75 mm and a total length of 64 mm for Kubota tractors of the Kubota L3408 series with Kubota D1703, Kubota V2203, Kubota V2403 engines and others.
An engine piston is a moving component responsible for converting gas and the energy generated during combustion into the crankshaft, and thus into engine power. The piston is connected to the crankshaft by a component called a connecting rod with pin connections. At the top of the piston are annular channels for mounting the piston rings, and inside is a hub for connecting to the connecting rod. At the top is the so-called crown, which can have different shapes depending on the engine type. Due to its harsh operating conditions, engine pistons are most often made of aluminum and silicon alloys.
