The hydraulic gear pump is responsible for the operation of the rear linkage and additional hydraulically operated implements. In modern tractors, the hydraulic pump is responsible for the power steering. Using the hydraulic pump , we can control additional functions of agricultural trailers, flail mowers, tillers, or TUR front loaders. The hydraulic pump operates using the tractor's hydraulic system and is powered by the tractor's drive system (e.g., crankshaft). Hydraulic oil pumped to the pump is directed to the high-pressure control valve, where excess oil is returned to the gearbox and then to the main distributor. Some hydraulic pumps may have additional sections that supply oil under increased pressure to the steering system.
