Head gasket with a diameter of 86 mm piston holes, Yanmar YM series with Yanmar 3T84 engine. The engine head gasket is a gasket that is installed at the point of connection of the engine head with the engine block. The place of connection of the block with the head must be tight for the correct operation of the engine. The head gasket is designed to seal the operation of the cylinders, coolant channels and lubrication channels and to separate, not mix these two fluids. The second task of the gasket is thermal insulation, because part of the engine block can heat up from the working combustion chambers, even up to 2000 degrees Celsius.
